Client Machine Requirements and Recommended Configuration
1. Introduction
This document defines the recommended configuration for an X4D client workstation. Client performance directly affects search speed, navigation responsiveness, model interaction, and document loading performance.
2. Supported Operating Systems
•Windows 10 Home – all supported releases
•Windows 10 Pro – all supported releases
•Windows 11 Home – all supported releases
•Windows 11 Pro – all supported releases
3. Supported Navisworks Versions
•X4D supports Autodesk Navisworks versions 2019 through 2024
•Only Navisworks Simulate and Navisworks Manage editions are supported
•Navisworks Freedom is not supported with X4D
NOTE: Navisworks must be installed locally on the client machine prior to X4D installation.
